Teeth Whitening

The color of your teeth can affect the confidence you have about your smile. Although it is not permanent, whitening (bleaching) is a simple dental treatment used to change the color of your teeth.

White For Life Program

Teeth whitening is one of the easiest ways to improve your smile and one of the least expensive, too. It’s getting even easier now with a program called White for Life.

White For Life is a program that provides patients with a free tube of whitening solution twice a year at dental cleanings. It’s a way to keep that smile looking white and healthy all year long.

What happens when you sign up?
After a consultation, we’ll take an impression of your teeth. That will be used to make custom bleaching trays. These are thin trays that hold the whitening solution. You’ll also be sent home with a tube of professional quality whitening gel. Then at each future dental cleaning, we’ll provide an additional tube of the solution for continued use at home.

Advantages of White for Life

  • White for Life whitening is professional quality and strength.
  • The dentist ensures that the solution strength you bring home is the right one for you.
  • The custom trays from the dental office fit your teeth better than whitening strips or over-the-counter trays you mold yourself after boiling them.
  • The custom-made trays ensure better contact between the whitening solution and your teeth, so the right amount is applied and it reaches your teeth evenly.

Is White for Life good for everyone?
In order to get a safe whitening, your teeth should be free of cavities and there’s a certain level of gum health required. The dentist and hygienist will be able to tell you if this program is a match for you.

Are refills really free?
Yes! At each dental cleaning (up to two a year), you can get another whitening tube at no cost. It’s an incentive for you to continue maintaining your dental health. After all, there’s no point in having white teeth if they’re not healthy.

Common reasons for tooth whitening may include:

  • Fluorosis
  • Normal ware of outer-tooth layer
  • Stained teeth
